Freaky Problem

I accessed the Dernholm dungeons via the stairs west of town. While down there I faced a monster, can't remember the name (something like Destructor or something) and I killed it. After the battle I saved the game. Unfortunately, Virgil somehow appears to be frozen. When I click on him nothing happens. I can go anywhere in the dungeon without him and he doesn't move. His picture still appears in my party and if I leave the dungeon he will appear in the next area with me. I can sleep for any amount of time and it doesn't wear off. Anybody had this problem or have any suggestions? Could he possibly have been frozen by the creature? I'm at a loss here.

Are you patched? The only thing I can think of is maybe a bug. The monsters down there, IIRC, are pretty low-key and don't have freezing spells (except maybe the winter wolves?).

Have you also tried issuing a command, for him to follow you closely?

I click on his character and no dialogue boxes come up. I've gone back to another save and replayed all the previous things I did. I went back and beat the monster with no problems and am continuing on. Thanks.
