Followers glitch?

I've been slowly playing through the main quests, getting a lot of xp from wandering monsters and side quests. Starting from round about the Isle of Despair I've notice my companions are steadily disliking me. Dog is at reaction 30, Jayna at 32 and Virgil at 42 and the dislike is steadily growing.

How can I stop this, what is causing it? I'm playing a good character, not doing evil quests or stealing or anything. I don't want to lose my followers.

Come on guys, please, there must be a way to reverse this or even stop the decline. I've now got the ratings at Dog at 20 (Dislike), Jayna at 32 and Virgil at 40.

I have never seen that, unless you are accidently hurting them somehow.

this happens to me too. i dont know the cause but here is how i fix it, i make all but one of my followers wait and take the one that i have into battle and hope it dies. if it does i reserect it and they are at 70 courteous.
also beuty may have some affect on this im not sure though.
