Falcon's Ache (possible spoiler)

Help I am at Falcons Ache to get rid of the people for the elves. I have auot attack off and my follows are waiting elsewere. However everytime they atttack I die. I dont attack them but I go into an attack stance (even though auto attack is off). If the update has naything to with it I have already installed it. What am I missing? Can not go any further in the game until I can get to talk to the Silver Lady.

just provoke them with words until they attack you....u just wait and dont return the attack..by the beggining of the next round they'll die

I do provoke them, they attack and we all die. I have the auto attack off, but I go into a defensive stance. I dont even take a swing, but we all still die

strange...got me there
still this game's full of reapearing bugs even when patched.sometimes i had to reload some older saves to get rid of them (it usually worked)

You might want to go somewhere else briefly, let something else attack you, and check to see if auto-attack is really off.

Find a scroll of persuation and use that but first remove all weapons and set options to not auto attack.
