Editing Items

Hello all, I'm new here. I was looking for some new RPGs like Fallout, Planescape and Arcanum and then I stumbled upon this great site.

Currently I'm fooling around with arcanum and wanted to edit some items.
so i hope there are some arcanum modders active here...

I was wondering if someone knew how to edit items of arcanum. I know worldED has some options but they are lacking...

I want to change the duration of effect items. especially the necromizer.

Anyone have any idea if this is possible? and know how to do this ?

Editing Arcanum isn't easy, there's a guide to how to edit a lot of things here: GameFAQs: Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura (PC) Background/Schematic Editing FAQ by Count Tyrant

However whilst I've done a lot of editing of Arcanum, I don't ever recall being able to change the duration of effects.

This site Dimensions of Arcanum - Tinkerer's Workshop has a lot of helpful files, maybe you can find what you're looking for there.

I never imagened it would be so dificult.

Someone mentioned that there was only one item editor for Arcanum - it was website based, but there was a compilable java version somewhere on internet.

Anyone has an idea where this editor might be located ?
