Ditching Virgil?

Ok, so normally even though playing a tech, i always kept Virgil in my party. however gaining experience just walking around near black root, he was killed by Greater Wyverns. of course Magnus with his pyroaxe and me with my repeater rifle killed the beasts (about six of them), went to black root and decided that because it was a random encounter, we couldn't resurrect him. So i picked up Jayna Stiles. (full tech party) was this a wise decision? or should i just have to be more careful with stupid Virgil.

If you're going Techie then really Jayna is better than Virgil IMO, although she goes through Healing Balms at a ridiculous rate. If you're not taking care of Therapeutics and Herbology yourself, then I'd even say she was essential. Never ignore the power of therapeutics.

Definitely a smart choice, as much as I admire Virgil ~ he simply isn't much use to a tech party.
