Destroying the engine/materials

Ok, why can't you just click and attack the steam engine/bridge materials in the beginning? How do you do to attack things on the ground, boxes, chests etc? And how do you use dynamite?

Enter combat mode (press R IIRC), hold down the Alt key and click on the target.

It's a while since I played the game, so forgive me if my memory slipped.

You can also drop dynamite near it.

dinamite using is simple. open your inventory and drag it to the "hand" and then run away

I have played the demo a few times and I am playing the full game, but almost every time when destroying engine/materials in Shrouded Hills, I had to use the dynamite twice, since the first explosion eitehr only damaged the target or was completely unsucessful. Do you have to put some character points into some skill to make explosives more powerful?

there's no need to waste the dynamite on it

load ur follower with some railroad spikes and order him to attack the engine(F2)

or u can simply hold the alt button while clicking on the object in combat mode

Try not to waste dynamites, you will probably need them later for some quest.
