can`t find them

i am on the mission "Retrieve The Dagger

but i can`t find them !!

If my memory hasn't been bombarded by six-foot-seven muscle-bound gods who have come from outer space in order to cut the human race up limb by limb and toss our flaming corpses into a titanium filled case, I believe you can either 1) kill the thief guy who has the dagger (he's in the upper left part of the map across the river; isn't shown on the game map), 2) do some errands for the thief guy, which would be to get the poison from grunwald or steal some belongings from the hedgewizard in the lower left part of the map, I think. If you have good persuasion skills (I think..) you can get the poison from Grunwald by talking to him, and if you have good prowling you can steal what you need; or finally 3) you can just steal the dagger from the thief guy if your pickpocket skill is high enough.

another stupid question The quest is: Find him a special gear to fix the steam engine you sabotaged.
where i can find him? and is it just solled special gear ?coz i found many gears but them don`t fit!

You may have seen the gear set because its inside the "see below". I don't remember which barrel it's inside but it is there. Be sure you complete all quests for Jongle Dunne before fixing the engine or he will not talk to you.

he talks to me but not about the engine,(i`m on the mission to fix the engine), i just found LARGE GEARS or OLD GEARS and it seems it dont fit to him

The gears set you need is inside the Bessie Toone Mine in the Shrouded Hills. Its the same mine you found Bessie's boot.

ok ty for information! now another problem ;/ my DX was 15 and sudenly it is now 2 ;/ i put all my stuff on the ground but my DX isn`t raising ;/ ? so what a **** it is ?

You probably have autolevel running. I don't like auto level a never use it. You might click on the autolevel button and see if it turns off. Also whenever I have a problem I exit the game and reboot. I do this because if its a directX problem then a reboot is necessary.

no it isn`t auto leveling buton, coz it`s off! just some how i carry many stuff and my dex lowered and it is now 2(was 15)and it is now red? i whant to ask whant means red colorded numbers... for e.g. my PE is red ... but it dont lowering or smth... i raised it by 3 now is it 12 but its still red! so what it means ?

I had the same problem in the game I just finished. I was in the Tarant sewer leveling up and when I open the character editer I saw the DX was at 2. I was carrying a light load so I don't know why. Sleeping for 2 days did not fix so I loaded the hard save for the sewers. My DX was ok at that point so I did the sewer again but the problem did not repeat??????

So I recomment hard saves before entering new areas.
