caladon sewers bug or my error?

I've just visited the 1st Panarii temple and spoken with the three in there - now I'd like to continue the quest in the Caladon sewers, but when I exit the temple and click on the sewer grate the entire game freezes up (no mouse control, no exit/save option, nothin).

I don't have the skills to sneak past the guards at the door inside the temple so I'm pretty well stuck unless I can figure this out.

I've also tried using an alternate sewer entrance and the same thing happens.

any help would be GREATLY apprieciated!

From the sound of it, your files are corrupted. My best suggestion is de-installing the game, clear the entire folder (Keep savefiles though) and re-install.
