| | anybody find the kensai/mage combo yet So, what is the broken combo set of the game. There has to be a couple of character classes that really kick some bootay once you get them going. Specifically, I mean a fighter/mage. There's got to be a set of skills/spells that makes a fighter better with battle prep spells.

| | There's certainly a number of spells to boost your combat effectiveness. My favorites are Shield of Protection, Agility of Fire, Haste, and Strength of Stone. Temporal Fugit is also tremendously useful, if rather draining unless you are a Temporal master. Of course, you'd want 100% magic aptitute if you want the best results from these spells, otherwise the bonuses will be minor. |

| | On the techno side, there are several items you can create that boost stats, like some rings that increase dexterity, and potions for constitution. Overall, I prefer the magic side, however, since you carry your components (as it were) inside you. There's no need to lug around every herb or piece of garbage you find littering up the scenery.

| | @Al, "kensai/mage" is kind of a local shorthand up here. It's drawn from BG2, and refers to a dual class configuration that's probably the easiest to play.
So, Ned is looking for a combination of stats and attributes that would be easiest to play.

| | It is Japanese. It's supposed to be some sort of Japanese warrior who is a really good fighter, but refuses to use armour...
