Weapon dmg

I'm playing with dorn and i've noticed some strange things during my play...

INFO:
I've maxed out the "two hand weapon fighting" skill and have great arm...


Problem:
I have a right hand weapon (great axe) that does aprox 57-89 dmg. in the other hand i got a great sword that does 28-49
when i change the second hand weapon to another with lower stats the stats should go down but the went up...?
how the h*ll did that work?
I thougt that i could be the difference in weight and type of weapon but i don't know.
Anyone?

ps. don't complain if the weapon stats might be wrong because im not at home and can't see the real stats..

It also happened to me but when i saved the game my stats went up, also when you use barbarian rage your stats will also increase a great deal. My barbs original damage was 172 - 242, but when i used barbarian rage it went all the way up to 217- 411.

get the diamond guantlet orb so you can do 362-753 dmg for your right hand weapon and the platinum guantlet orb for 465- 1026 dmg for left hand while your level is maxed out and go to the teleporter of destruction and hold down the triggers to find the secret cave and transform your char into the ultimate char
