Some questions

Hi
I'm a level 10 Shadow Knight at the moment, just entering the Caverns of Dispair after recusing those kittens.

1) any particular spells I should concentrate on? At the moment I have Disease Bolt of 5, Darkness Bolt of 2, Disease Sheild of 2 and Disease Trail of 2. looking forward to when I can summon skeltons. Been putting most of my points into strength.

2) Should I bother with the bow? I've given up using it, as the arrows was too much weight - now just carry spears. I use spells for range enemies, keeping the spears for tougher characters.

3) Armour or Health bonus? I have a ring which gives 10 armour bonus and a ring which boosts health by 5. Which is better. How do you compare armour and health?

4) As is tradition, will blunt weapons do more damage against skeltons?

I have a level 46 Shadow Knight right now and love her. The only spells that I leveled up were my blunt weapons, strength (the thing that makes you carry more), and your regeneration then when your finally level 15 level up skeleton every chance you get.

Any possibility to have some range, take it. It may not be much but with an enchanted bow (fire et al) you may deliver quite a few blows before melee contact! I like the shadow knight (lvl 19 currently) and the skeleton helps. but I recommend getting your Health and Strenght up this will protect/help you in close combat.
The best Character I have sofar is the Cleric (lvl 21)! The Hammer spell is indispensible! .. it makes me burst out in a song.. "..if I had a hammer.."

Skeleton seems to be the spell to have.

I tend to keep a bow and a few arrows (< 60) with me at all times just in case. There were a few places like that temple in the dessert where I could shoot magic users over 1/2 walls before I walked into them, making my single player experience a bit easier. I find when you have a pack of 5 (or more) magic users their resurrect ability makes it really hard to get rid of them all.

As far as the cleric goes, I found the weapon limitation a bit rough. The weapon I upgraded in Act 1 could not be beat by any I found or could buy until Act 5 when 2 dropped that were better. That is a long time in between upgrades. My wife's ranger on the other hand had changed weapons at least a dozen times in that time.

hey im a dark elf shadow knight of lv 50 now and the best spell i know and have upgraded to lv 20 is engulfing darkness because if you use it it wil not inflict much damage but te effect wil be great confusing the enemy for that long and you can kill them this is a great spell for bosses as wel,and the second spell wil be skeleton or the dissease bolt because it targets and follows and hits dessease damage

and for the rings best you can do is the armor bonus but later on in the game some strenght for the dark elf or inteligence and try to duplicate items as wel ..
