The game is definately too short, as was BG

A. And as was mentioned previously it indee does wreak of diablo 2. The linear aspect comes with the genre of action rpg. It's just an action game, which are traditionally linear, with RPG elements that give it minimal depth. My basic qualms about this game is the fact that the engine went virtually unchanged from BG

A to BG

AII to FO:BoS. And that was mildly annoying. You're basically playing the same exact game but in a different setting and in the case of FO:BoS different armour and weapons, not to mention a lot of vulgar language. I think Champions of Norrath is the best game to come out of this engine because it takes quite a while to play through unlike the BG

A games. And also the special hidden characters suck because they don't really get any better gear that what they come with, so they get old fast.
