| | | Silverfall The demo for Silverfall will make it's debut on Gamespot by tomorrow (Monday, 29 January 2007). For those who are not familiar with Silverfall, it is a game set in the world of Silverfall where there is a battle between the forces of technology and the forces of nature. You will have to choose between which side to determine your destiny. This is as far as I know.
Anyone interested in this game?
P.S. Official site can be found here.

| | I have to use another site, PC Gameworld, to download this demo since the servers in Gamespot are pretty much congested at the moment. The link to the download page can be found here. Getting decent speeds so far, so hopefully, it will be done by tomorrow.

P.S. Official site can be found here. | Played the full game already using an import and a fan dubbing. It isn't all that great to be honest, the world is very dull and uninteresting, and the fighting itself isn't that exhilerating or anything. |

Then the release date I saw at Gamespot (13 March 2007) must be the U.S. release date. As for your analysis, I'll keep this in mind.

| | | Not sure where it came from really, I saw the company name and not the country, and since I immediately replaced the language pack with a translation pack, I have no idea.
Some of the quests are really boring. Most every quest in the game involves killing a monster as a requirement. Go clear out the monsters in this area so we can get a generator up, go take care of this monster because he's bugging the town, go find my amulet, it's being worn by a monster.
At least some action-RPG's have quests that don't involve monsters, like fetching an item, or going to rescue a few survivors of an explosion or something. |

| | I think your version must be the European one because after reading IGN's preview dated 17th November 2006, this is what the article mentioned: Quote: |
Silverfall is launching next week in Europe, and is currently scheduled to release in the United States this coming February. Check below for updated direct-feed movies from Silverfall's latest build.
| As for the game itself, I didn't find it interesting either. Just managed to finish downloading the demo and gave it a shot. Didn't really liked it very much. Quite frustrating, if you ask me.
