| You're all on one screen at the same time. You can also play it online. I think up to 4 players there too. All on one screen.
In offline play you are "tethered" to the other players, that is to say you can't get more than 4/5ths of a screen apart.
You'll need to decide rules on shopping and equipment management. Anytime someone opens their pack, the game is paused and only the 1 or 2 people can access their stuff. With 4 people, you have to take turns and CON drops LOTS of stuff. You can spend the whole game just doing that. We limit our kids to only looking at equipment once we are all 4 full (and in town) or at the end of a section (quest). This way we do not spend all the time with equipment.
