Please Guys I need Help

I have walked through the game killing these little ones until i got to the Castle. I killed everyone on the courtyard and I went to the Second yard and proceeded to the bottom where the spidars are. I went back to the top and I talked to the black man and he told me to go inside the Castle. My problem is that I couldn't get into the Castle !!!!!!!!!!!!

I know there is another entrace on the cornor of the courtyard but I couldn't go through it !!!!!!!!

Please tell me what to do ???

go to the middle of the courtyard...(just to the right of the guy) you will see a set of small stairs that lead to a pedestal...go up to it and you will enter the castle!!
