orb of thunder

I have released lyran on the upper level but when i did i forgot to collect the scrolls and left the room now there is some sort of force field around it and i can't get in which means that i can't get into the cellar. Is there any other way of getting back into the room? I have stupidly saved the game after leaving the room and i don't want to start the game again.
Any help would be appreciated.

I think you can get in the back way. There are actually 2 back ways, but one I know is blocked by the force field.

If you are facing the door to Lyran's study go right. You'll get to a hall with two that has one or two doors on the other side of two fire traps that show towards each other. If you just walked into this hall the door you want to use is the one on the right, I think it is very close to the fire trap. Follow the path around, lots of floor traps here. It should take you to the left. Eventually it will converge into a small hall, I believe you have to battle books here. Once through the hall you should be able to go left into Lyran's study.

That's the best I can give you from memory. Hopefully it works. If not fall back to a previous save.
