magic missile

Hello all,I have just played through the game for the first time, then i thought i would read the manual.
Anyway in the manual it says there is a magic missile spell , i could not see it in the game, did i miss it or is it a error.

Thanks for any help

You didn't specify which game, so I answer for both.

Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance (BGDA): The elven sorceress has magic missle as one of the feats she can learn. In my opinion it's a pretty weak attack and your points are better spent on Ball Lightning and Meteor Storm.

Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance II (BGDA2): The enemies have the skill, the players do not. Some of the players do have skills to block magic missle though.

There are plusses and minuses to both. I felt BGDA had a better story, and a better range of locations to go to, but less choices of characters (3), and no upgrading of equipment.

BGDA it doesn't have the dreaded "Air" section, but it does have a section where you must hop across 3 sets of rocks before they fall. Lots of people have problems with those rocks. Don't forget about Gauntlet mode which is nice.

BGDA2 was cool with the special quests giving you better feats for all but the unlockable characters.

I could go on, but I have to get to work.
