Import Trouble

I recently got this game. As I had a CON save I was going to import it. My surprise is that the game doesn't want to recognize that I have a CON character.
I don't know if it has something to do with my Memory Card (it is a 64 Mb non-official) or with the game itself.
Anyone knows?

Frankly, I never had this problem and I have an official memory card so... I'd guess that the problem is with your memory card.

I heard that it has something to do with the version.
I have the Spanish PAL version of RTA, but it seems that there was another version for Europe, another PAL that is the one compatible with the CON PAL, so I'll have to stick with a new player or buy the other version and play in English (though they aren't big problems)
