Post Gating in multi player games

Has anyone else found this problem ?

When playing any multiplayer game be it two, three or four players, whenever player one dies it is not possible to use gate scrolls to return to the safe areas. You have to either continue on to the next save or portal or tramp back to the last one.
Its becoming a little boring to have to either sit out while the rest of the group carry onwards and miss out on a load of EP or for the group to spend several minutes walking back through the slaughter to get to the last save/ portal point.

Talking Uhm, yeah. That's one of the many bugs

It seems to only happens if you are not player/controller one.

If you are player/controller one, you still have the option to use gate scrolls.

The best way to work around this is to not die. If you seem to be the character that always dies, try keeping in the middle of the group to let the others take more damage.

I supposed you could try to change the controller you are on by saving, dropping your character, saving in a new save spot on the card, loading the new save, then add your character in. I did not test it, but logically that should move the originally player/controller 1 character to player/controller 4. Then if your character dies, the player 1 that survived can gate scroll to get you back. Not that gate scrolling, getting you back and gate scrolling back is much faster than walking back to the last save point or reloading from the last save.

You should also remember that if they bring you back, you lose all the treasure you found, and the experience earned since the last save point was made. That is to say that when you walk by a save point and don't save, there is an auto-save point made. Any accomplishments made since that save point was made are lost.

Personally my wife and I reload from the last save if someone dies.
