Final Bridge won't open!

Hello,

I have just begun playing Champions:Return to Arms as the Shaman. I am at the beginning part where the Engineer opens bridges after completing quests (killing evil shamans, etc.). The last quest was to blow up the fire catapults....well.....i did that....and there was a little scene with the bridge not opening! now.....the engineer is nowhere to be found and the bridge is still up. I am stuck...what is next? Thanks

usually with the Champions series you'll need to revert back to a prior save. I always keep 2 saves in Champions of Norrath. Since Sony didn't bother to test these games before they released them, there are bugs, and the bugs force you to have 2 save files or start over when stuff like this happens.

Maybe I am wrong. There is a possibility that someone who also spent too much money on an buggy game will have a solution for you. I didn't buy Return to Arms due to the bugs that those that bought it reported and the bugs in the original. Maybe I'll pick it up when I can get it used for under $10.

Sony shut down their Champion's board, so we'll hope someone has a better solution than mine and post it here.

You have got to be kidding me.

I bought my playstation2 a few weeks ago...i also have an xbox and a gamecube. my champions of norrath has bugs in it too.

maybe it is just me...but i have never heard of a system releasing games with bugs to the public. sheesh!

i didnt save two files. looks like im starting over.

while many of the bugs in RTA will require reloading from an old save this one has not caused me much trouble.. at least 3 times i have had the 'missing engineer' problem. however if you go back to firiona vie's store the engineer will show up when you return.. other bugs are not so easily remedied so i use at least 3 saves..
