Baldur’s Gate and Elder scrolls 4 are a step up in complexity from say Champions: RTA but I still think they fit the description of an action-RPG. | I'm not sure about that. I've seen RPGs like Fable: The Lost Chapters, The Elder Scrolls series and a few others that have real-time combat but yet they are still considered as RPGs rather than action-RPGs. It could be because those games don't focus a lot on fighting and have quite a number of RPG features like an expansive world, quests and the usual features. I'm just guessing here but I could be wrong, though.
