Unhappy Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance - The Gauntlet

Playing on a Game Cube and trying to beat The Gauntlet but keep getting killed. Can't make it past the 5th "room" with those flying monsters. I also suspect that I will run out of time. Any tips or stratgies on how to beat it?

I was finally able to get though the 5th "room" with those flying monsters and then killed most of the men and spiders in the 6th "room" but then ran out of time. My strategy for not getting killed has been to fight as manay monsters as possible one-on-one by luring them into the hallways and also using the ice blast spell on the bigs ones and the schock wave spell when the smaller ones gang up on me, but I am using too much time that way. It's very hard to keep an eye on hte health and magic power meters while attacking and moving and casting spells. Does anyone know how many more "rooms" are left?

Also, is Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance 2 availble on the Game Cube or wil it soon?

I would assume it's on GameCube. I think after you finish the game it unlocks Drizzt(at least on PS2) and it's a lot easier with him that whatever other character I had at the time. There was also cheats that I remember. The most notable one was invinsibility, but I'm not sure where I found them.

Yes, it's on GameCube. After you finish the game it does unlock Drizzt. If you can rember any cheats like the invisisablity one or where you found them, i would appreciate it . I searched a lot through Google and could find none for The Gauntlet .

There was a sequence of buttons you had to push all at once and it unlocked a cheat screen. Well I found it. Here it is.

The gauntlet is extremely hard on Xbox. I hate to use cheats and always beat a game before resorting to them. I have only used cheats to beat Magic Battlegrounds and the Gauntlet of Baldurs gate.

Drizzt

I play on PS2 and I think it's the same on XBox. After you finish in any level (easy, normal or hard), The Gauntlet will open and you have to play with Drizzt there. You must finish the level in less than 15 minutes. After do that the level EXTREME will open and you can play with the character you finished the game (he/she starts the same level you finished the preview game). You can play with Drizzt in EXTREME too, but he only has his two scimitar and can't use any other weapon. In the beginning his scimitar is very good, but after...
