Ant Queen

I can't freaking beat the ant queen... I'm a level 12 wizard and even though almost all my points are in stamina it takes me down in 2-3 hits, that's not even mentioning all her fricking minions.

Is there some strategy, or do people actually go toe-to-ant-mouth-claw-thingy and survive somehow?

If I remember correctly in the bottom right corner of the map [right from when you walk in] theres a small pillar that stands out a bit from the main wall. If you stand there the ant queen is too big to get to you, just hit it with spells from there and fight of the smaller ants, sometimes she can get close enough to hit you so just move around depending on where she is. But stay in the gneral area of the pillar
