| Hm. I always use a hood for my chars - first thing I create - only it is of Night Eye, so I can always see my way in the dark. I really HATE not being able to see all the way across a dungeon to spot where the arrows are coming from!
Yeah, I know there are perfectly good torches (but they don't light up very far) and very good light spells - but they make you more visible, not good for a Stealth char. An item of constant Night Eye is, imo, the most useful item you'll ever possess.
Almost equally useful is an item with a strong Detect Life enchantment; The Cowl of Nocturnal is good because it has a decent Feather enchantment as well. |
