That's one of the big problems with BGII- the dearth of thieves. Rogue classes have the best HLA in the game, but there isn't a vanilla Thief [spoiler?]
(except Yoshi... but we know about him), a F/Th or a T/Cl in the whole game! Who thought that up?!?! That is my only beef with this game. The evil rogue is a staple of fantasy- was it so difficult to bring back Montaron or Tiax... or maybe have Shar-Teel a F->Th for the second game?!
