| Kipi is correct. Icewind Dale 1 uses AD&D 2nd edition rules and elves can only be be brought back with a Resurrection spell. This means your cleric has to be 13th level (i.e., have 7th level cleric spells). Mother/Sister Eugenia (whom you rescue in Dragon's eye) has the spell I am pretty sure. You also might try the Temple of Ilmater in Kuldahar. I seem to recall finding at least 2, maybe 3, resurrection scrolls in the course of the game.
