| Tell us the properties and type of your weapons, please. Are you familiar with the game-concept of "damage reduction"? Perhaps the weapons you are using just aren't powerful enough to bypass the Balor Lord's damage reduction and you can't hit hard enough to overwhelm it. Check the enhancement bonuses on your weapons and then compare them to your henchman's. Also, have a weapon that deals non-physical damage as a bonus while avoiding the lightning type. Demons such as Balors are immune to lightning.
