No, I have not played ToB yet, and to be safe I did not highlight your post or CFM's post.
I gather from your comments I should either take Jan or leave him, not sure which. So I'll tell you my plans are to take him all the way through SoA and ToB if I can. I won't considered it a "spoiler" if you tell me if it's a good choice or bad choice based on what I've told you about my feelings about the little guy.
