I'm about to quit my technologist as well. I didn't plan on healing as I hoped having a healer NPC would suffice.

I tried to play a technologist without research after having dug the game out of a box after a move years ago. I was lost interest in the game years ago due to bug. Now after fixes it seems just as broken as I leveled without properly researching that I need to be my own healer and probably keep Virgil for the middle of the ground people to survive.

EDIT: I basically have gone too far to correct this if at all. Jayna doesn't have jack for 'healing' skill, wastes a full stack of bandages for very few health gains. I'll stick it out though, having fun either way.
