I enjoy spending time in towns, the actual missions aren't exactly as important to me, because they usually end up being "find bad guy, kill him, get plotlines". I'm one of the people that's attracted by the little things, weather changes, good NPC's, especially sidequests.
Can't find a game that's like that all so much. Most of them are all dark and gloomy. I don't know why that seems to be a req. when it comes to RPG's.

Sacred Gold maybe? It has lots of "little things."
