| One of the types of standing stones will let you change your birthsign. I don't remember if it's runestones or doomstones. Find them all over the wilderness. If you activate a red one and it gives you a bound weapon or armor, then it's the other color you need (or vice versa). Some of them give you a spell-like power and some of them let you change your birthsign.
