| Mine would be similar, except that I'd use 1 ring of Wizardry, 1 ring of Protection +2, and the amulet that gives an extra 2nd level spell (grrrr, can't remember the name!).
My favorite solo, which I have yet to play is a Berserker 7 dual classed into a Mage 8. This only works if I have Tutu installed.
Without Tutu, my favorite solo would be a Dwarf Fighter/Thief. They can stealth, and getting a 20 CON fairly early helps SOOOOO MUCH when soloing.
