Absolutely. I've never used this tactic myself, because it's clearly OOC: it implies a knowledge of future events that your character couldn't be expected to have in the early stages of KotoR. Still, if he wants to be a powermonger...

It seems to me that if you want to make the game more "intense", you'd do things to make the game more challenging. Fable's suggestion of utilizing just one teammate or, alternatively, using some of your weaker (i.e. non Jedi opponents) allies is solid. You might step away from using two weapons, and focus on a single light saber. Don't pause and save very often, etc. Obviously, play the side of the force that you didn't the first time through, as well.

Good suggestions. A few others:
Agree never to use mines and grenades.
Alternatively, agree never to upgrade lightsabers.
Never use lightsabers, at all.
Perhaps the toughest would be never to use any jedi powers. Quite a challenge, that, if you choose to accept it, Jim.
