| Sadly, there aren't many newer games out there that meet your precise specifications.
Given the type of games you mention that you've played, I'd give Jade Empire a whirl. It's set in an Asian medieval fantasy setting, which may be a bit outside of your definition of ideal game. Still, it's got a good story and is fairly entertaining. Combat is a bit different, but it's not horribly difficult.
Of other games you've not mentioned, the Witcher is set in a unique fantasy setting. I've yet to play it, but by most accounts it's a good game. It does carry a mature rating and content, though.
RPG wise, you've played most of what i would recommend. I'm thinking of trying out "Overlord". There's a PC version of it and I've read that it's a fairly light and entertaining game. Though, it has a slightly more focused on recruiting and leading followers. It might be worth checking out, as well. Sci-Fi role playing wise, Mass Effect is entertaining, as well. Again, it carries a mature rating. |
