Yes, Burial Isle is hell. Don't even bother shooting Drowned Dead, they've got about 95% resistance so it's a waste of time and ammo. Summon up some monsters as decoys, and send in a tank with the Three White Doves (undead-disrupting mace you can buy in Lonelywood).
The underground is a higher plane of toughness. One of the most frustrating areas of all. There's very little room for mistakes. Holler if you need tips.
