After seeing those pics more carefully, I am both less convinced that a KotOR III will be made and certain that we'll see it sooner rather than later.
Check the bottom right corner of
this pic. 5.07.2004. Imo, this may mean two things:
1. A third KotOR was indeed planned but the idea was scrapped.
2. KotOR III may be near its release (three and a half years is, I think, more than enough time to develop a game).
