| Please don't take this the wrong way but have you put points into find traps on thief levelling up? needs to be over 50% for Dragon's Eye. Also thief doesn't disarm traps when finding them, you need to get them to disarm them by clicking on the 'mask' icon and pointing at trap. Sorry in advance if you already know this; also thief cannot disarm traps if wearing anything heavier than leather armour.
There is the Heart of Winter expansion pack and Trials of the Luremaster. Also try the game on higher difficulty levels and with multiclass or dual characters.
