I have listened to a few Vampire sound files with WMP in the past. I do that with games ocassionally cause sometimes I like to save them or make a ringtone out of them.

So if it turns out to be a corrupted sound file, how would I fix that? If this turns out to be the case, I hope you (or anyone) can/will help me fix it though it wouldn't be patch related. Hopefully I'm not stuck with it (or have to re-install the game).

This is a real bummer if playing a sound file independently of the game can cause that sound file to no longer work in the game.

I do also have the game installed on my daughter's computer so I would have access to a particular sound file if it needed to be replaced (if I can remember where the hell it is in the game and how to do it).
