I think that Darth Sion is John McClane.  The meatbag destroys Peragus's asteroid field, blowing up the Harbinger with it - and he was inside the ship. Somehow he survives (!). Later we find and almost kill him on Korriban, fleeing only because Kreia tells us he cannot be killed (!). Then, on Malachor V, we have to slice and dice him three times (!!!) before he dies - and he only dies because we gently ask him to do so.
Die Hard anyone?
