| I think you have to wait through the credits, not skip them. Whenever I chose to get the mask, I wait out the credits and am simply thrown back into the game, outside the gate of where you fight him.
Also, this thread contains a spoiler so please change your title to include a spoiler tag, so that it doesn't ruin the storyline for those that have yet to play the game.
