| Players making new magical items?
I don't know if this is allowed, unfortunately. I wanted to know if it is? I know you can make magic items if you have feats, and you can make new magic spells, but can you make brand new magic items?
There are some magic items from Advanced Dungeons and Dragons I've not seen in any of the new books and I wanted to see about transplanting them into the campaign I am in by having my char invent them. Before I run them by my DM, I wanted to see if there were any rules concerning this? If not, it will have to be house rules on whether or not I can do these, I would guess.
Also, are there prestige classes that specialize in magic item crafting/researching new spells? If not, maybe I'll see about making one... |
