| I wouldn't worry so much about the prices. I'd be more worried about people chasing you. If you get caught picking pockets in towns, or if you kill townspeople (excepting Orrick and his goblin, iirc), the other townspeople will fight you and won't talk to you. That means you won't be able to continue with the game if you make key NPCs hostile.
