For dual wield I would either commit to it or leave it for later. Because you do lose a shield and thats only going to be 'worth it' if you have the skills and get DW % procs.

In late epic and legendaries critical hits become important and a harbinger has increased OA from 2 trees skills premonition and weapon training. This means they should take hamstring to get even more crits (the skill is rumored to be a % reduction to DA rather than flat I have read on titanquest.net).

Distort reality temporal rift (1pt in the base max the petrify) is good eventually when enemies get real viscious as your panic button.

Get the skill that increases total speed and projectile resistance it rocks.

maybe 1 pt in sands of sleep for dactyls if you don't want to deal with them.

I would skip the nightmare

Trance is up to you Convalescence is my pick for more defense and mana/life. Empathy is good to for ADCTH (attack damage converted to health) and even the retributive damage you deal gets converted to life so its a defense in a way. Trance of Wrath only if your dealing something that enemies have a high resistance to (not physical) like pierce or poison/bleed. But the burn is good in normal.

On Warfare Battle standard is awesome for tough fights. Warhorn a secondary panic button if extra skill points. Warriors for boss (with standard up). Max onslaught line. Max DW. 1 pt in Battle rage for OA boost and maybe points you don't know what to do with in here somewhere. I'd prefer dreamstealer to Warwind but I've done both before. Warwind hits with both weapons or twice if spear and it has shorter cooldown. Dreamstealer is insanely good too though.
