First you need the rune spell.

Now you need enough stones to cast the spell. I forget the names of the stones so I will just use letters A F E K to denote a stone.

Say you need 2A stones 1 F an E and a K to cast the rune spell.

First you need to get 2+ A, 1+ (F, E, and K) stone.

For example you might have 3A 1F 2E and 1K stones. You have both the stones and the rune spell. Now hot button the spell to a number slot say stone shards is hot buttoned to '7'.

Now press 7. The shards shoot out blowing something apart!! Since the spell drains 2A with each use your 3A stone is decharged to 1A (it will recharge back to 3A). F is totally decharged. E is decharged to 1E and K is totally decharged.

You can't cast the spell again untill the stones recharge to the level of 2A 1F 1E 1K. Or if you get more stones you can have more charges to burn. So the stones are like ingredients that get used up to cast a spell. But the ingredients recharge. It is kind of a hybrid between nether magic and celestial. Nether - ingredients. Celestial - rechargeable (or arcane).

So instead of a complete rechargeable spell you have spells with rechargable ingredients...
