Check downloads, either here, or the Vault or at Bioware's forum for the editor.
Also use the search in this forum for more information.
It is not a new problem, but I know very little about it. Others may have a better solution, so that you don't lose all of the characters gear and experience.
And as always, save often in multiple slots.
