Sorry if I'm reviving a dead thread, but I've been having this problem myself, only with Neeshka. The solution seems clever, but, uhm. (embarrased to reveal ignorance.) What's a GFF editor, and how do I get and use one?

Also, I suppose for dealing with equiptment problems, you could always transfer their stuff to the main character, and for influence, there was this cheat, (after entering cheat mode) "rs kr_influence" that opened up a dialogue with this weird thing that could edit your influence with any of the party members to whatever level you desired.
