| I've noticed that KOTOR _really_ doesn't like certain graphics cards. Lots of people here have had problems with Nvidia cards, for instance. I got a new machine which had a niominally way slower graphics card than my old one, and KOTOR (and KOTOR2) performed infinitely better.
I assume you are referring to the notorious 'Dantooine Drag' effect? You can cope with the poor performance by always facing a nearby wall while playing in large open areas, but it's a right pain! |
