You're joking right? People from world of warcraft decided to crash an in game funeral to a friend of a party that died in real life. Jackass's crashed this party in a player versus player realm JUST because they can, and even though it was kind of weird, it was still a tribute to a real deceased friend that also had an account on WoW, and nothing bad happened to anybody from the whole incident. Nobody was hunted down and shot to death, nobody was banned, nothing happened afterwards, people just continued on in real life as normal.

To think an alliance of people paying cash for the better weapon against a solo person might make the solo person kill the people in real life is absurd, that is by far the least likely thing to ever happen. EVEN if they did happen to have just their address or their name or something, I doubt they'd waste money to buy a gun or something, waste more money for a trip down to where the jackass's live, and do something as criminal as that just for a video game. Identity theft, maybe, but not homicide, especially when the frustrated gamer is thousands of miles away, I seriously doubt it.
