| I assume they refer to the fact that if you time your conversation with Kreia that triggers the prestige class, so that it happens right after you've levelled up, then you level up again immediately, thus gaining all the XP necessary to raise to the next level. When you're talking about going from, say, level 18 to level 19, that's an awful lot of XP.
It's become almost automatic for me to do it that way, but if anyone hadn't sussed it would be a useful tip maybe.
