Ya.. if you're looking for rare colors like cyan, orange or silver there's a couple vendors that have around a 2% chance to stock them.
The easiest way to get one is from the Duros smuggler guy on Telos. Save before you check out his inventory, and if you don't get the crystals you want just load and try again. (Be prepared to do this a lot if you want a specific color.. the % is pretty low)
